You better believe Orioles third baseman Manny Machado knows his salsa. I mean, for his sake. Otherwise, how is he going to get you to buy his new line of salsas?
Machado teamed up with PLB Sports (“your premier source for athlete-endorsed, quality food products”) to create “Machado’s Salsa,” which comes in mild or medium but not hot.
At the unveiling Tuesday, Machado said, “I’m very humbled by this.” But don’t worry; he was smirking when he said that, and those in attendance laughed. He said he keeps his fridge stocked with salsa around the clock, and he doesn’t go for the hot stuff.
