After the Savannah Bananas baseball team played two sold-out games in Baltimore last year, two other teams are coming to Oriole Park at Camden Yards next summer.
The Party Animals will take on the Indianapolis Clowns during back-to-back games over Fourth of July weekend on July 2-3, 2027.
It’s part of the Banana Ball World Tour to 79 stadiums across 74 cities — including, for the first time, international stops to Mexico (Monterrey and Tijuana) and Canada (Winnipeg and Toronto).
“This is the most ambitious tour in Banana Ball history,” said owner Jesse Cole. Our goal is to take Banana Ball to as many fans as possible and push the envelope on what can be done on a baseball field. This tour does exactly that.”
The Banana Ball Championship League is known for wowing fans with tricks, dances, lip syncing, and other entertainment. Imagine if the Harlem Globetrotters traded basketball for baseball.
The league’s six teams include the Savannah Bananas; the Party Animals; the Indianapolis Clowns; the Loco Beach Coconuts; the Firefighters; and the most recent champions, the Texas Tailgaters.
Fans who want a chance to see the Indianapolis Clowns and the Party Animals play in Baltimore must visit Bananaball.com/tickets to join the 2027 Ticket Lottery. But don’t dilly-dally; the lottery entry period will close Oct. 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Joining the lottery does not guarantee an opportunity to buy tickets. The league will draw names at random, giving those randomly selected individuals the chance to purchase available tickets.
Fans whose names get drawn will be contacted directly with next steps.
The league will announce game times and other event information soon.
The Indianapolis Clowns last played in Maryland on July 31 and Aug. 1, when they took on the Loco Beach Coconuts at Prince George’s Stadium, the home of the Baltimore Orioles’ Double-A affiliate, the Chesapeake Baysox.
In August 2025, the Savannah Bananas played against The Firefighters at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
The games featured music, a player batting on stilts, and appearances by Orioles legends Adam Jones, Nick Markakis, and others.
