At some point on Christmas, while you were busy spending time with loved ones and living out your holiday spirit, two individuals were out in North Baltimore in search of a different kind of spirit.

Bosphorus Bistro, located at 5716 York Road, about two blocks south of Belvedere Square, sells delicious Middle Eastern dishes like kebabs, falafel, wraps and mezze. It also has a stocked bar, which became the target of two holiday thieves on Dec. 25.

Police say that day, two suspects made illegal entry into the business. Once inside, the duo took โ€œa large quantity of alcohol products,โ€ according to police. Authorities didnโ€™t release information about the time of the burglary or how the suspects may have entered.

The restaurantโ€™s owners couldnโ€™t be reached for comment today.

Anyone who recognizes either individual or has information about the incident is asked to call Northern District detectives at 410-367-3105.

This incident marked at least the second bar burglary in North Baltimore within a three-day period. On the morning of Friday, Dec. 23, a brazen suspect tossed a brick through the door of Frazierโ€™s on the Avenue in Hampden and made off with money from the bar.
