Still on the road in support of the excellent album “7,” Baltimore duo Beach House is returning home this summer for a local show at one of the city’s grandest venues, the Hippodrome Theatre.
As guitarist Alex Scally noted last year ahead of the record’s release, not only is this the group’s seventh album, it also brings the number of songs he and vocalist/keyboardist Victoria Legrand have recorded to 77. So it’s only fitting to celebrate in style.
The June 11 show comes in the middle of festival season, shortly after Beach House plays several dates in Europe and before a set at Bonaroo several days after the Baltimore performance.
