Union Craft Brewingโ€™s moments of TV fame were short-lived. M&T Bank pulled a spot featuring the Hampden-based brewers after officials discovered an Urban Dictionary entry.

The spot featured the breweryโ€™s founders calling discarded beer cans โ€œnuggets of joy.โ€ A variation mentioned in the commercial referred to โ€œjoynuggets.โ€ After the spot began to run over the weekend, someone at M&T Bank found the meaning of Joy Nuggets on Urban Dictionary. (Weโ€™ll just leave the entry right here.)

On Wednesday, the bank sent word that the ad was off the air, and Youtube.

According to a blog post on the companyโ€™s website, Unionโ€™s founders werenโ€™t sure if the spot was ready for prime time when they first recorded it. But now they have a message for the world: โ€œDonโ€™t let #joynuggets die!โ€
