Justin Tucker has shown off his acting and dancing skills this fall. Before the season ended, the Ravens kicker got a chance to show that he’s a triple threat.
Tucker sang the “Ave Maria” Thursday night at a benefit for Catholic Charities at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This wasn’t a stunt with a celebrity or politician trying to sing Christmas carols. Tucker is a classically trained opera vocalist, and his pipes are in mid-season form.
As expected when a sports hero unexpectedly dazzles off the field, word got out immediately. A reader sent us a photo during the performance last night. And fortunately, the Ravens had a film crew there to document:
