SouthBMore.com reported in January that a then-unnamed “destination restaurant” was coming to 2 East Wells. Outside of the eatery being “exciting,” little else was revealed. Now, they’ve revealed a name, a chef, and design and menu details.
The 3,723 sq. ft. restaurant will be called At Light’s End and feature chef Jeff Keeney, according to SouthBMore.com. The space will seat 129 and will include an open kitchen and a raw bar. They say the menu items will change to accommodate locally available ingredients.
Options lined up for the opening include spicy bourbon beer nuts, burgers, and range of pickles and seafood dishes. The bar is reportedly going to focus on rye whiskey. An image is beginning to emerge!
The owners said they’re looking to open around Labor Day.
