With foodie and drinkie spots like Parts and Labor and Clavel, Remington has become a spot for creative culinary ideas. A new project from Seawall Development is looking to provide a space where even more ideas can spring up.

Construction is beginning on R. House, a food hall thatโ€™s looking to provide space for โ€œchef-driven concepts.โ€ The $12 million renovation will install 11 kitchens where chefs can experiment, as well as 12,000 sq. ft. of seating. The chefs have yet to be announced. Plans also call for a 4,000 ft. yoga studio, and office space for mission-driven companies.

The space is located at Remington Ave. and 29th St., and itโ€™s part of Seawallโ€™s Remington Row project. Itโ€™s scheduled to open in fall, 2016.
