With foodie and drinkie spots like Parts and Labor and Clavel, Remington has become a spot for creative culinary ideas. A new project from Seawall Development is looking to provide a space where even more ideas can spring up.
Construction is beginning on R. House, a food hall that’s looking to provide space for “chef-driven concepts.” The $12 million renovation will install 11 kitchens where chefs can experiment, as well as 12,000 sq. ft. of seating. The chefs have yet to be announced. Plans also call for a 4,000 ft. yoga studio, and office space for mission-driven companies.
The space is located at Remington Ave. and 29th St., and it’s part of Seawall’s Remington Row project. It’s scheduled to open in fall, 2016.
