The world’s best acroyogis will convene in Washington, DC, September 1820, 2015 for the 2nd Annual Capital Flight Festival. As the largest AcroYoga gathering in the mid-Atlantic region, this event strives to bring awareness to the unique practice that builds trust, joy, and community. AcroYoga blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power or acrobatics, and the loving kindness of healing arts. The Capital Flight Festival is the firstever of its kind, uniting practitioners from several distinct organizations, including AcroYoga California, AcroYoga Montreal, Acro Revolution, and Dutch Acro. This fun-filled 3 day event will include over 20 AcroYoga classes to choose from including Daniel Scott’s Special PreFlight Intensive; two All Levels Community Jams where practitioners are welcomed to “play” in a fun informal setting; a Thai Temple offering oil massage and Thai therapeutics; and a special performance night featuring local artists, musicians, and acrobats. Whether you are new to AcroYoga or the seasoned acrobat, the festival is a welcoming playground for people of all skill levels!
