After jurors could not reach a unanimous verdict in a non-fatal shooting,ย Baltimore City Circuit Judge Alan Lazerowย declared a mistrial and a retrial will be scheduled on July 21.
Larry Mooreย is charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, firearm use in a felony or violent crime, having a handgun on his person, having a handgun in a vehicle, reckless endangerment, firearm possession with a felony conviction and discharging a firearm for a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Sept. 5, 2025 at Jayโs Grocery located on the 2300 block of E. Preston Street.
Moore is accused of opening fire at the owner, wounding him.
Moore was also charged with possession of firearms with a drug conviction for the same incident, which was dismissed.
Defense attorney Donald Wright is representing Moore.
Mooreโs next appearance is set before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Copeland.
