Amazon keeps adding new services to the Baltimore area– the latest example being Amazon Lockers, which are now available in nine locations around town.
The Amazon Locker is basically a self-service pickup point for packages. The big advantage for Amazon is that they only have to ship to one location rather than many; the advantage for customers is that they can sometimes get their packages more quickly–and feel sure that they won’t get stolen. That’s an increasingly important concern for many Baltimoreans as package theft is a big issue both here and around the world.
The nine locker locations are mostly in Shoppers grocery stores around the city:
