It’s well-known that Amy Schumer is among the group of hilarious women with Baltimore connections we see on TV. Her time at Towson University also came up on the red carpet at last year’s Emmys when she talked about her college days studying theatre. Back on the TU stage at SECU Arena on Sunday, Schumer recounted what was happening when she wasn’t studying.
According to Baltimore Magazine, there were plenty of local landmarks mentioned, including The Colony, Charles Village Pub and Casa Mia (RIP). As for the exact details of those encounters, it’s best to read Schumer’s quotes in the piece itself.
Until a few years ago, she had some unfinished business. As for her Class of ’03 status, the Baltimore Sun recounts that Schumer’s diploma was the subject of another tale. Turns out, she didn’t actually get her diploma for a few years after finishing her studies because she owed $200. They’re just like us.
