You may know Maryland Congressman Andy Harris as the guy who tried to block legal pot in D.C. Or maybe you remember him as the fellow who thought that people upset about George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin should “get over it.” But for me, Congressman Harris will now and forever be “creepy winking guy.”
Gawker, which has a long and proud tradition of hating on Harris, spotted Harris giving the ol’ CSPAN camera a leering wink several times during testimony last week. According to his spokeswoman, it was a secret signal to his mom, who is a big CSPAN fan.
You’d think that would make the whole thing less creepy, but, well, somehow… it doesn’t.
