We sent our intern Daisy Strudwick, rising sophomore at Ole Miss and RPCS Class of 2011, to check out the new Ripley’s Believe It or Not Odditorium at the Inner Harbor.  See below what you’ll find inside.  (One of the best attractions: air conditioning!) -The Eds.

Patriotic Roland Parkers Turn out for Annual Parade

Young and old (many still without power) turned out for the annual 4th of July Parade in Roland Park yesterday, a longstanding tradition in the leafy North Baltimore neighborhood. Before the parade, Roland Parkers read the preamble to the Declaration of Independence and sang the National Anthem. The parade traveled down Roland Avenue, ending at the Roland Park Presbyterian Church, and was led by a firetruck followed by a crowd of around 100 people with their patriotically-decorated bikes and wagons. A group carried an American flag to serve as a reminder of what we were celebrating. Popsicles were given out at the end to help participants cool off on a very hot 4th of July afternoon.
