This weekend, Waterfront Partnership kicks off its fourth season of Baltimore by Baltimore, the summer-long series of waterfront music and maker festivals.
Held the first Saturday of each month (excluding July) from June through October, the festivals take place at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater and surrounding area from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The first Baltimore by Baltimore festival will take place on Saturday, June 7. The theme is โPride at the Waterfront,โ produced by DDm (also known as Dapper Dan Midas.) Celebrating the cityโs vibrant LGBTQ+ community, the lineup will highlight drag artistry and gender expression. Visitors can expect to hear and see great entertainment from DDm, DJ 7oey, DJ DNyce, JPope and the Hear Now, Kotic Couture, davOmakesbeats, Mass Destruction Marching Band and The Club Car.
Visitors to โPride at the Waterfrontโ can browse vendors like Pablo Machioli, Sacred Space, Namascents Candle Company, Dreamers and Make Believers, Amourous Designs, Allure Bound, and more. No one will go hungry or thirsty, since there will be empanadas from the Empanada Lady, barbeque from Soul Smoked, drinks from Bar Movement, and much more available for purchase.
Waterfront Partnership launched the Baltimore by Baltimore series in 2022 to elevate Baltimoreโs leading artists, makers, and creatives, and to showcase the cityโs diverse arts and culture scene. Each monthโs festival is curated by a different local professional producer who puts together the lineup of locally produced goods, music, art, and food. New this year, Chyno, the Baltimore Foodie will curate the ultimate Baltimore street food experience.
