The Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks is asking County residents to complete an online survey to inform the 2022 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan.

The new survey, which takes around 10 minutes to complete, is open until Monday, Nov. 1.

โ€œCreating opportunities to hear directly from County residents is fundamental in our ongoing work to plan for the future of our communityโ€™s recreational needs,โ€ Baltimore County Recreation and Parks Director Roslyn Johnson said in a statement.

โ€œWe look forward to hearing from residents to help inform our vision for capital projects including parks and open spaces, programs improvements, and more over the next five years,โ€ she said.

The Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan (LPPRP) serves as the master plan for the Department of Recreation and Parks, outlining goals, objectives, and open space policies.

The most recent plan was adopted in 2017.

The Countyโ€™s Department of Recreation and Parks offers thousands of recreational programs for County residents, from skateboarding and sailing to picnics and summer camp.
