The Baltimore Fishbowl has jumped into print with the publication this week of the “Guide to Baltimore Independent Schools.” The first annual guide features editorial and sponsored content, including write-ups on headmasters, interviews with students, features on community service at the schools and more. The back of the book contains information on more than 100 Baltimore metropolitan area independent schools.
Longtime Baltimore Fishbowl contributor Muffy Fenwick, a Baltimore independent school grad and mom, served as editor. “It was so rewarding to work with the schools, especially the students,” she says. “I loved discovering the distinct differences among them and appreciating each school’s unique personality. Each one has its own voice.”
Plans for a 2017-2018 independent schools guide are already in motion. A Baltimore Fishbowl Guide to Baltimore Real Estate is planned for the spring, with popular Hot House columnist Cynthia McIntyre as editor.
