Get Up & Go! Mid-Winter Warm Ups
Ah, mid-winter. The holidays are over, but spring is still a long way off. But with this milder stretch of weather, you might as well get out there and enjoy the weekend. For those straining to see the light at the end of the cold-weather tunnel, a visit to the Remodeling Expo at the Convention Center may be in order. It’s the perfect place to start dreaming up your big house beautifying plans for spring.
And of course, to go with your new floors, you’ll need the perfect (house trained) furry friend. Head up to Timonium for the World of Pets Expo. Even if you’re not in the market for a pooch, this family friendly event is perfect for all animal lovers, and nothing warms the heart like some good kitten ogling.
For winter-time knitters, this Sunday at 5pm you can sip your pour over while you purl to your heart’s delight at Artifact Coffee for the K1P1 meetup.
It’s also Souper Saturday at Basignani Winery, where you can warm up with home grown wine and two different soups all afternoon. Woodhall Wine Cellars will also be serving up soup and stew today and tomorrow– so you can get your full weekend’s worth of warm, and go home with a couple of bottles to see you through the end of the month.
