Spring is coming! Really. We swear. Here’s proof:
This Monday, the Ivy Bookshop will bring author Craig LeHoullier to Artifact Coffee to sign copies of his book Epic Tomatoes, which teaches you how to grow them (them being the best tomatoes of all time).
Then, next Saturday, Baltimore Spring Fest brings Keith Sweat, Ginuwine and more to the Royal Farms Arena. Spring is in the name of the event!
And over at Necessary Secrets, they’re having a 30th Anniversary Sale through March 14th. Time to peel off the long johns and slip into something a little more warm weather appropriate.
For those needing a little lift out of this wintery mess, Baltimore Yoga Village is offering a two-weekend workshop on both Acroyoga (that’s yoga mixed with acrobatics) and Thai massage. Starting next weekend, you can learn to fly (that is, be lifted by a partner) and to give (and receive!) therapeutic Thai massage.
Or, if you’d rather swing the complete opposite direction, there’s the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Fest at the Maryland State Fairgrounds next weekend. They’ll have 60 beers, 40 bourbons, and a whole lot of BBQ. Perfect for those who want to eat like it’s summer, but drink like we’re still in the throes of winter. Which, well, might not be so far from the truth.
