Spring is finally here in all its glory. Feel free to fill the weekend (and coming week) with excuses to spend time outside– either by yourself or with the whole family. There are plenty of ways to get out and about, and here are just a few of them.
First things first: starting at 2pm today, Center Cut Doughnuts will be doing a pop-up event at The Charmery in Hampden. Last time, they sold out of all 100 doughnuts in one hour. This time they’re doubling the amount of doughnuts– but that doesn’t mean you don’t need to be quick on the pick up.
Everything is starting to bloom at Ladew Gardens, so it’s a great time to take a stroll through the grounds. If you’d like a little adrenalin with your visit, hurry over there for today’s My Lady’s Manor Steeplechase Race and enjoy one of Maryland’s most cherished equestrian traditions.
Tomorrow, take a drive out to Howard County for their big Sunday Bazaar. It’s a flea market, it’s a plant sale, it’s a craft show, and so much more.
Another great place to get out of town for the day is Crow Vineyard and Winery, where they’re hosting wine and chocolate pairings today and a seminar on wine basics tomorrow.
This weekend also marks the 8th Annual Baltimore Tattoo Arts Convention, should you have the inkling (sorry, we can’t help ourselves).
