LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
Dear Readers,
Welcome to the third annual Guide to Summer Camps, a print and digital publication launched by Baltimore Fishbowl in 2024 to provide Baltimore metro area parents with a trusted resource for choosing summer camps and programs that will best suit their children.
In past editions, we have spoken with local camps about their counselor-in-training programs, we have highlighted camps that focus on the arts, and we have explored camps where children spend the entire day outside.
This year, we talked to camps that focus on academics, with options ranging from residential and day programs at area colleges to half-day programs designed for students with learning differences. We also spoke with some popular sports focused camps, from sport-specific camps designed for experienced players to camps created for beginners who would like to try multiple sports.
Between these feature stories, this year’s Summer Program Profiles and our summer camp directory, we hope you will find the perfect place for your children to spend the summer.
Enjoy!
Nicole Allen
