Sixty Baltimore eateries will participate in the city’s Summer Restaurant Week, with establishments ranging widely by cuisine – from Afro-Caribbean fusion to Italian – and neighborhoods – from Station North to Canton.
The 10-day celebration of Baltimore’s culinary offerings will kick off July 25 and run through Aug. 3.
“Among the many assets that we have every reason to boast about are the incredible restaurants that make Baltimore a destination for tens of thousands across our region and far beyond,” said Downtown Partnership of Baltimore President Shelonda Stokes in a statement. “Summer Restaurant Week, in particular, provides the opportunity to entice an even greater number of area residents to experience all that our great City has to offer, by first appealing to their taste buds.”
Baltimore-based olive oil company Pompeian will sponsor the restaurant week.
“We’re excited to support Summer Restaurant Week and celebrate the incredible culinary talent in our hometown,” said Michael Vercelletto, Vice President of Marketing at Pompeian, in a statement. “Pompeian has proudly called Baltimore home for more than a century. As America’s #1 olive oil brand and a 100% farmer-owned company, we’ve grown nationwide but could not be more passionate about our Baltimore community.”
Restaurants will offer special prix fixe menus for brunch, lunch, and dinner; dishes crafted specially for the restaurant week event; options to dine outdoors or indoors; and takeout at select locations.
Summer Restaurant Week brings out the foodies in full force, so patrons are encouraged to make reservations.
