According to reporting in the Baltimore Sun, it can actually be easier to find permanent for Kuwaiti rescue dogs in Baltimore than in Kuwait.

Over the past year and change, the group Wings of Love, Kuwait has brought 152 rescue dogs from the country to be rehomed in Baltimore.

Wings of Love co-founder Jennifer Yoon told the Baltimore Sun that permanent homes for dogs and cats in Kuwait are hard to come by, as pet owners there are likely to abandon them eventually. That’s why it has made sense for Kuwaiti rescuers to work with Wings of Love to move the dogs 6,000 miles to Baltimore to adopt them out.
