If you’ve ever grumbled at how much time you have to spend behind the wheel in Baltimore, you’re not alone.
Baltimore is the sixth-worst city in the country for driving, according to WalletHub. The site’s algorithm considered factors such as how much it costs to own and maintain a vehicle; how much traffic drivers have to contend with; driver safety; road conditions; and gas prices. Baltimore didn’t fare particularly well in any of those categories, though we ranked particularly low when it comes to safety (as numerous other analyses have found. Incidents like these probably didn’t help, either). We also ranked among the cities with the highest parking rates.
Maybe it’s time to explore bike commuting, Baltimore?
