The Baltimore Station is raising funds to benefit houseless veterans at Topgolf Baltimore on April 11.

โ€œTake a Swing for Recoveryโ€ is a golf tournament and fundraiser in its second year for the nonprofit organization that provides residential treatment programming to veterans who are experiencing houselessness and have substance abuse disorders. The Baltimore Station helps them break the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient.

At the fundraiser, โ€œTake a Swing for Recovery,โ€ golfers will enjoy three hours of golf played tournament-style and a backyard barbeque lunch including beer and wine. There will also be raffles, a gift card pull, and other activities. Awards will be presented for the top team score, top individual player, and other surprise awards.

Tickets are priced per individual or per bay, which can include up to six people. A ticket for one person costs $150, and to purchase an entire bay costs $750. Purchase tickets by clicking this link.

The Baltimore Station is the areaโ€™s largest VA-funded Grant and Per Diem (GPD) program, and the only long-term residential program. The organization provides up to 24 months of clinical care and life skills training to ease transition to the independent living and facilitate lifelong success.

โ€œTake a Swing for Recoveryโ€ takes place on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Topgolf Baltimore, located at 1411 Warner Street, Baltimore, MD.
