Taco lovers are in for a treat in Towson.
Banditos Tacos and Tequila is having a soft opening at its new Towson location on Allegheny Avenue, near the traffic circle.
The Mexican-style restaurant will hold a grand opening on July 9 with live music, contests, gift basket giveaways, food, and drinks.
In addition to tacos, the restaurant is known for their handcrafted cocktails featuring tequilas and mezcals.
“We wanted a really good location that was in a college town and Towson is very up-and-
coming,” said shift lead manager Cate Trockenbrot. “It’s going to be new, fun, and young. We
are definitely a very young and fun restaurant, and we want our food and staff and atmosphere
to reflect that.”
Banditos has locations in Federal Hill and White Marsh, and they have locations coming soon to Columbia; Arlington, Va.; and Fairfax, Va.
Over the next five years the business is planning a major expansion.
“The goal right now is to have 30 Banditos by the end of 2027,” Trockenbrot said.
