Beach House shares 'Dark Spring' off forthcoming album '7'

Local duo Beach House released another track, “Dark Spring,” off the forthcoming release “7,” and it’s yet another example of the band pushing its sound.

Starting with a Phil Spector-era drum break that bleeds into shoegaze-y vocals, “Dark Spring” has a percussive pulse and an ethereal quality all at once. Listen below:

The accompanying black-and-white video is directed by Zia Anger, who’s also worked with Mitski and Jenny Hval, according to Pitchfork.

“7” is due out May 11 on Sub Pop.
