Beach House shares 'Dark Spring' off forthcoming album '7'

Local duo Beach House released another track, โ€œDark Spring,โ€ off the forthcoming release โ€œ7,โ€ and itโ€™s yet another example of the band pushing its sound.

Starting with a Phil Spector-era drum break that bleeds into shoegaze-y vocals, โ€œDark Springโ€ has a percussive pulse and an ethereal quality all at once. Listen below:

The accompanying black-and-white video is directed by Zia Anger, whoโ€™s also worked with Mitski and Jenny Hval, according to Pitchfork.

โ€œ7โ€ is due out May 11 on Sub Pop.
