Johns Hopkins University announced their commencement speaker yesterday. Usually these things happen in the form of a press release or email blast. But this announcement was… different.
Yes, Hopkins released a one-minute trailer to announce its 2015 commencement speaker: Ed Catmull, the president of Disney and Pixar, and the man responsible for such beloved movies as Toy Story and Frozen. Catmull, who is a computer scientist with an artist’s brain, is pretty much the perfect choice for a Hopkins graduation speaker.
Hopkins commencement is scheduled for May 21. Stay tuned for more commencement speaker news!
