After multiple robberies, the Park Cafe and Coffee Bar’s owner decided to stop taking cash.
According to WBAL, The Bolton Hill cafe was targeted in five robberies over four months, with the most recent coming Jan. 20. The owners wrote on Facebook that they changed things up multiple times, but were still targeted. The latest decision was to go cashless.
Police made an arrest on Thursday that may be connected to the case. The arrest was connected to a robbery at Park Avenue Pharmacy. But police said they were investigating whether he was also involved in the Park Cafe incidents, as well as other robberies.
