If you spot a skeleton replica around Baltimore, you just might be in luck.
Halloween retail store Party City is starting off spooky season a little early this year with their “Yorrik Scavenger Haunt Sweepstakes.”
To celebrate the countdown to Halloween weekend, Party City is hiding more than 100 life-size poseable skeletons in cities that are ”historically haunted” across the country, and Baltimore is on that list.
The retailer’s skeleton mascot, named Yorrik, will be placed around the Baltimore on Friday and Saturday.
If you see Yorrik out and about, you can scan a QR code and enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win more than 100 prizes, including Yorrik & Family Prize Packs, Party City Gift Cards, Glam Boneyard Party Packs and more.
“Halloween is all about fun and a little mischief, and our mascot Yorrik knows that better than anyone,” said Odette Welling, Party City’s vice president of Halloween, in a statement. “We’re Halloween-obsessed at Party City and are beyond excited to provide consumers with an engaging, interactive way to jumpstart the season and officially countdown to Halloween weekend. We can’t wait to see how many people find Yorrik in each of these spooky cities.”
Other cities where Yorrik can be found include Chicago; New Orleans; Los Angeles; Charleston, South Carolina; Charlotte, North Carolina; Portland, Oregon; Salem, Massachusetts; San Antonio, Texas; Savannah, Georgia; and St. Augustine, Florida.
