Lighting Designer Bradley King, a 2002 graduate of Gilman School, and Author and Composer  Dave Malloy will present Gilman’s 2017 George E. P. Mountcastle Memorial Lecture on Monday, March 27. They will speak about their smash musical, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, an “electropop opera” inspired by Tolstoy’s War and Peace. The New York Times called the show “the most innovative and the best new musical to open on Broadway since Hamilton.” The lecture begins at 7:30 p.m. in Gilman’s Alumni Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Learn more here.
