Lighting Designer Bradley King, a 2002 graduate of Gilman School, and Author and Composer  Dave Malloy will present Gilmanโ€™s 2017 George E. P. Mountcastle Memorial Lecture on Monday, March 27. They will speak about their smash musical, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, an โ€œelectropop operaโ€ inspired by Tolstoyโ€™s War and Peace. The New York Times called the show โ€œthe most innovative and the best new musical to open on Broadway since Hamilton.โ€ The lecture begins at 7:30 p.m. in Gilmanโ€™s Alumni Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Learn more here.
