You know the BSO is world renowned, but you’ve never been to the Meyerhoff. You may think of the symphony as an event that’s not right for kids, or you may be worried that you’ll lose focus because you don’t know the music. The orchestra’s weekend concert allays both fears at once.
The BSO is set to play tunes from some of the better digitally-animated films of the last 20 years. Pixar in Concert features the music from films like Toy Story, a Bug’s Life, Monsters Inc., Cars, Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. In other words, the animated movies you watch even if there aren’t kids around. Images from the films will also be showing throughout to keep your eyes focused. But if you close your eyes and pretend to be Wall-E, that’s okay too.
The concerts are set for Fri., Sat. and Sun. at the Meyerhoff. More info.
