The cheeseburger originated in the 1920’s and has been a favorite American creation ever since, and a signature dish at the Mt. Washington Tavern, who will celebrate the cheeseburger with a lunch special on Friday, offering several of their gourmet burgers – the Texan Burger, a Fresh Ground Turkey Burger, a Lamb Burger or their signature Baja Burger, paired with an Old Hill Top (the Tavern’s very own amber lager) for lunch for just $13. That’s a huge deal! Almost as huge as the Tavern’s burgers themselves!
