Itโ€™s mid-summer โ€“ that sleepy time of year when days move slowly, humidity is at its peak, and our summer wardrobes start to feel a little stale.

Add some excitement to these lazy, hot days with a closet upgrade, courtesy of Green Spring Stationโ€™s summer sidewalk sale, which takes place from Thursday, July 16th through Saturday, July 18th. The sale will feature big discounts โ€“ up to 75% off โ€“ on fabulous spring and summer items at Green Springโ€™s much-loved retailers.

Throughout Green Springโ€™s open-air space, find great merchandise both in the shops and just outside their doors, as retailers embrace the al fresco spirit of the โ€œsidewalk sale.โ€ From accessories to home goods to on-trend clothing, including brands like Trina Turk, Chantelle, Splendid, Halston and Alice & Trixie, the sale is a great way to jazz up your summer staples with a few fun, new items.

โ€œWe have a lot of designer clothes and accessories on sale โ€“ all this yearโ€™s fashion,โ€ says Lynn Fram, owner of the lingerie shop Bare Necessities, which will be selling some items at extremely steep discounts, including bras that originally sold for up to $120, for as little as $15.

Friday and Saturday, shops will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday night, Green Springsโ€™ shops stay open until 8 p.m. making shopping easier for those with daytime commitments. (Thursdayโ€™s extended hours happen each week, not just during the sale.)

To find the best deals, plan to shop early and often, suggests Fram โ€“ and make the most of the extended Thursday night hours. Shoppers can find fantastic vacation outfit deals, she says, and fun clothes to wear through the rest of the summer. โ€œItโ€™s a great time to get new things at a discount!โ€ she says.

Green Spring Station is located at Joppa and Falls Roads in Lutherville. For more information โ€“ and fashion inspiration โ€“ visit www.greenspringstation.com or find us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
