Itโ€™s the most wonderful time of the year โ€“ especially when someone else is cooking the holiday meal. Whatโ€™s more festive than a dinner out, with great food, in a fantastic space? This Christmas Eve, skip the stove and start your celebration with a leisurely dinner at Johnnyโ€™s in Roland Park.

Johnnyโ€™s is open from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The new a la carte menu will be available in its entirety and the bar will feature festive drink specials, including hot toddies, boozy cider and โ€œgrown-upโ€ eggnog for $5.

The restaurantโ€™s Western-influenced flavors, fabulous desserts and top-notch drinks  are the stuff holiday dreams are made of. For traditional diners, meals like the 16-ounce t-bone steak will be just right, while the more experimental types might go for one of Johnnyโ€™s intensely flavored fusion dishes, like the Korean-style short ribs or pulled duck in mole sauce.

With about 50 wines and 17 different whiskeys available in addition to the holiday specials, dinner is sure to be full of cheer. Plus, Johnnyโ€™s coffee program โ€“ one of the best in the city โ€“ will give everyone the fuel they need to finish last minute, late-night wrapping before Santaโ€™s arrival.

Johnnyโ€™s basement space feels as cozy and festive as a warm sweater โ€“ but itโ€™s also large enough to accommodate big groups, coming together to celebrate. So gather up the family but put away your apron. Instead of making dinner, make a reservation at Johnnyโ€™s.

Johnnyโ€™s is located at 4800 Roland Avenue in Roland Park. For reservations, call 410-773-0777or visit www.johnnysdownstairs.com
