As temperatures dip, visitors to The Shops at Kenilworth can keep warm with a cup of Joe at a new seasonal pop-up coffee shop.

High Grounds Coffee and Tea has opened a 475-square-foot coffee bar on the mall’s lower level next to Italian Gardens. The Towson pop-up will be open through Jan. 31.

“We’re excited to welcome High Grounds Coffee and Tea ahead of the holiday season,” said Tracey Holehan, Senior Vice President and Director of Leasing at Greenberg Gibbons, the shopping mall’s owner and operator. “Customers can warm up with a drink as they shop and enjoy our festive events.”

In addition to this pop-up, High Grounds also operates a location at 3201 Eastern Ave.

High Grounds first opened on Eastern Avenue in 2003, according to WJZ.

They opened a second location in 2024 at 600 Rappola St., but that spot has since closed.

High Grounds sources its coffee from more than 21 countries.

They ship their house-roasted beans anywhere in the U.S., which could make it a good holiday gift for the caffeine fiend in your life.
