It’s time for the renderings to come out to play. The concept drawings for a refurbished Rash Field are set to be unveiled on March 29, and the public is invited to weigh in.
The meeting is set to be held at the Maryland Science Center at 6 p.m. The Waterfront Partnership and Mahan Rykiel Associates will have reps onhand to provide an update on the Rash Field project. In addition to an initial public meeting, they conduced an online survey and held focus groups.
The park at the south end of Inner Harbor is known for volleyball, and is also home to a carousel and Pride of Baltimore II Memorial. The volleyball will likely stay, along with other fitness and recreation areas. The carousel and memorial will likely have to find another home. But the city wants to bring in a cafe, events space and better bathrooms to make the area more attractive.
