We recently met up with the folks at Tripster, and we’re excited to introduce Baltimore Fishbowl readers to this fun, creative and engaging option for drop-off child care. Tripster can be the lifesaver you need when a holiday, professional day or vacation day shows up on the school calendar and you have to work! Even on those days when you’re home and don’t have the time to engage your children, you don’t have to park them in front of a video game console or TV. Tripster will give them a day filled with fun, interesting activities. With many schools closing NEXT WEEK for the Jewish holiday, now’s the time to learn more! Check out the launch event Tripster has planned, and read more about the company and its amazing proprietor, who is a working mom herself and understands the need for occasional child care. Here’s a note from owner, Jamie Seward:

TRIPSTER, LLC, OFFERS FUN ALTERNATIVE TO DAY CARE WITH EXCITING ADVENTURES FOR CHILDREN
Come let your kids explore, experience, and learn with Baltimore’s new child care adventure program for school-aged children! Baltimore-based Tripster, LLC, offers all day adventure programs at select locations throughout Baltimore on non-school days, winter and spring break. The caring and experienced staff provide just the right formula for fun and learning with day trips to exciting locations like the Franklin Institute and special events around the region. Transportation, admission, lunch, and snacks are all included in these exciting excursions.
What does a day with Tripster entail? The day begins with a delicious and healthy snack aboard one of their tour buses en route to a museum, water park, and many other popular destinations. A full itinerary is provided with lunch along with engaging maps for curious explorers. These adventures offer children a hands-on learning experience as they tour museums, explore gardens and parks, and most of all, have fun!
“As a working parent, I was often challenged with numerous days off from school with my 2 boys. Realizing the lack of options, my business partner, Heidi Kenny, and I, came up with this unique alternative offering children active adventures when school is closed”, says Jamie Seward, Co-Founder and Director of Tripster. Trips include transportation along with healthy snacks and lunch. Special dietary needs and allergies are always accommodated.
Parents, guardians, and grandparents are welcome to come on the trips or attend events for an additional fee. Our professional, well-qualified staff members have been thoroughly screened and evaluated. Sign up for trips and events via Tripster’s website – www.tripsteronline.com or by calling 410.844.1980. For additional information, please contact Jamie Seward, Director, at 410.844.1980 or via email at [email protected]ripsteronline.com.
