Dan Deacon came back to Baltimore for a triumphant reunion with the music sceneโ€™s best exports at Windjammer last weekend. While heโ€™s in town, the much-loved musician will also get back together with some of the best ice cream in town.

Hampden sweet spot The Charmery is hosting Deacon on the evening of Sept. 9 from 7-9 p.m. Deacon and Charmery Master Creamer David Alima have dreamed up some special flavors for the occasion based around the idea of road food. Since Deacon is on tour a lot, he wanted to offer up some ice cream that reflects what heโ€™s used to grabbing while going.

So far, The Charmery has revealed three flavors: Drunken Blueberry, Danโ€™s Ultimate Peanut Butter and a singer-specific offering made with Throat Coat Tea. A fourth flavor โ€œthat does to your sense of taste what Dan Deaconโ€™s unique and original music does to your sense of hearingโ€ will be unveiled on the night of the event.

Deacon is also creating a playlist for the evening, and heโ€™ll be scooping ice cream himself.
