The Baltimore Museum of Artโs massive renovation project wraps up with the opening of a new education center on Sunday, Oct 25. The Patricia and Mark Joseph education center is set to mark the occasion with a daylong celebration.
As we reported earlier this week, Patricia and Mark Joseph gave a $3 million gift for the center, half of which will go toward construction. The other half creates an endowment for programming at the center.
On Sunday, the public can get the first peek at what some of that programming will look like. The BMA is also opening its Imagining Home Exhibition, which is the first show in the new center.
Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to learn how to play the spoons and partake in inflatable architecture. John Iampieri and Anna Pasqualucci are also offering a Painted Screen workshop.
Check out the BMA website for more info.
