Dimples Bar & Grill opened this month at 1401 E. Clement St. in Locust Point. Dimples, a Philadelphia cheesesteak concept, takes over a two-story restaurant space that was formerly the home of Peppa Flame Restaurant and Lounge.

Dimples is owned by couple Mary and Armand Miles. It is named and inspired by Mary Miles’ late mother Dimples.

Mary Miles previously worked in property management and Armand Miles just retired as a bus driver with Philadelphia’s SEPTA.

  1. Yay, Philly locals who know the best cheesesteak joints, not the tourist trap places. Toasted with wiz please.

Wish you great success! You could bring some Philly Reading Market and Italian Market, esp the moz, into the mix. Can’t wait to visit!!!
