Disney will hold a professional development course in the Baltimore area for the first time next week.
The one-day course, called “Disney’s Approach to Business Excellence,” will take place Aug. 9 at the Cinemark Theatre in Hanover.
Disney Institute, the professional development team for Disney Parks, Experience and Parks, will teach participants about how they can adapt Disney business practices to their own organizations.
“We’re thrilled to expand our collaboration with ODP Business Solutions as we take our classrooms on wheels this summer,” said Timo Gorner, vice president of Disney Institute and National Geographic Live, in a statement. “Our experiences are transformative and engaging, and the lessons we share can be applied in your own work environment.”
The eight-hour session will cover Disney’s three pillars of success: leadership, employee engagement, and service.
In addition to the course, ODP Business Solutions will offer participants discounts on office supplies, furniture, technology and other products. Participants will also receive a Disney art print after their first purchase.
