University of Maryland students have been getting pelted with pellets, but authorities don’t know who did it.
According to WUSA9, three separate students were hit with ammo from a BB Gun over the weekend. The incidents happened over about 90 minutes, from 7:20 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. None were seriously injured.
Police have yet to track down a suspect. Adding to the mystery, it looks like the incidents were drive-bys. The suspect was inside a dark-colored vehicle when he fired the shots, NBC Washington reports.
It’s not the first strange sighting. College Park students reported two bears and creepy clown sightings. Plus there was the rash of robberies at Pokemon Go stops. A BB gun may seem harmless, but this is the first incident where students were physically hit.
