Social media managers with big organizations are always looking to own a story, and that can require a break from protocol.

The Transportation Security Administration is usually a place for safety tips. When highlighting a particularly bone-chilling knife found on a carry-on at BWI, however, the TSA decided to get in front of the puns, and make sure to get their message of safety out in the process.

โ€œMake no bones about it, no knives are allowed to be packed in carry-on bags. Iโ€™d make a joke about it, but thereโ€™s nothing โ€˜humerusโ€™ about trying to take prohibited items on the plane,โ€ the TSA wrote on Instagram.

Well done, TSA. It disarmed the passenger as well as the pundits.
