Social media managers with big organizations are always looking to own a story, and that can require a break from protocol.

The Transportation Security Administration is usually a place for safety tips. When highlighting a particularly bone-chilling knife found on a carry-on at BWI, however, the TSA decided to get in front of the puns, and make sure to get their message of safety out in the process.

“Make no bones about it, no knives are allowed to be packed in carry-on bags. I’d make a joke about it, but there’s nothing ‘humerus’ about trying to take prohibited items on the plane,” the TSA wrote on Instagram.

Well done, TSA. It disarmed the passenger as well as the pundits.
