Get your house in order, put on your sorting hat and head over to Golden West to test your knowledge of all things related to witchcraft, wizardry and muggles.

Truthfully, my knowledge of the “Harry Potter” series doesn’t go much further than the above terms, some of which I Googled, but clearly there are people out there who care deeply about the stories and know a lot more! This is for y’all. There will be prizes, of course, as well as a costume contest, “Harry Potter”-themed snacks and drinks, and a raffle for a gift card to Ilchester Wand Shop, a music box that plays “Hedwig’s Theme” and more.

Charm City Meadworks will have new seasonal meads on draft and in cans, as well as special “potions” using the drink. There are all kinds of courage, including the liquid kind.

9 p.m., Golden West Cafe, 1105 W. 36th St., (410) 889-8891, goldenwestcafe.com, free.
