Who says half-birthdays aren’t just as important as regular ones? No one does, especially if the person celebrating that half-birthday is offering dessert waffles and ice cream sundaes for next to nothing to all willing to celebrate.
The operators of Waffie, the one-of-a-kind dessert destination on Hampden’s Avenue, are pleased to have reached the milestone of six months in business and are offering specials on their prized sweets all day today. Those who stop in for this half-birthday party can enjoy a $1 waffle, with five flavors to choose from (see picture above), or a $3 brunch waffle, which are like those $1 waffles but with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream on top. The first 50 customers also get a free frozen maple coffee with their purchase.
Sugar rush be damned, that’s a good deal.
