Is your child the next Kate Spade or Coco Chanel? Do they enjoy sewing, sketching and designing? If so, then Wee Chic Boutique in Green Spring Station has the perfect camp experience for your young designer. This August, children’s designer, Mary Helen, will be at Wee Chic for an engaging 4-day Fashion Design experience. Selected one of the (Cool) Progeny’s 10 (Cool) Camps for Summer 2016, Fashion Design Camp at Wee Chic is perfect for the budding designers in your world.
Enrolled students learn all the steps of fashion design from inspiration and sketching to pattern making and sewing their very own item. All materials and equipment are supplied. The session concludes with a Friday fashion show for the families of the mini-designers to show off their creations to friends and family. The camp is drop off and designed for children from ages 7 to 14 of all skill levels. Space is limited so early enrollment is recommended. The camp will run from Monday, August 15 to Thursday, August 18. Select either the morning (9 am to 1 pm) or the afternoon (1:30 pm to 5:30 pm) session to best fit your schedule. The fashion show for both sessions will be on Friday, August 19.
This camp is the perfect compliment to Wee Chic’s fashion forward attitude; kids are never too young to enjoy great style and self-expression. Wee Chic is considered one of Baltimore’s most fashionable boutiques and winner of five consecutive Best of Baltimore nods with a unique selection of kids clothing and gifts from birth to size 16.
