catch of the day fish (2)

Back in the day, a chain of vehicles heading toward Pigtown meant the swine were about to dash through the South Baltimore neighborhood. This Saturday, trucks will replace trains and the only place you’ll find pigs will be on the plate, but the community will come out to see the sights all the same.

The first Pigtown Pig Out is set for Saturday, August 1, from 3-7 p.m. Food trucks will post up in the Dollar General parking lot at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Washinghton Blvd.

Food trucks onhand are set to include HarborQue, Pizza di Joey and Cazbar Turkish Restaurant. The event also functions as a pregame party before the O’s take on the Tigers around the corner in Camden Yards. We hear the Oriole Bird may also be making a visit to the Pig Out to rally the faithful.
