The Pikesville Armory Foundation (PAF) has announced its third annual Summer Music Series featuring genres spanning old time, bluegrass and American roots music to jazz and funky alternative rock.

The series begins on Wednesday, May 27, with father/son duo Ken & Brad Kolodner, bringing the soundscape of hammered dulcimer and clawhammer banjo to blur the lines of old time, bluegrass and American roots music. On June 10, Corinthia Cromwell graces the community with her talent and passion as she performs an array of gospel, jazz, and R&B. Finally, on July 22, look for Uncle Kunkelโ€™s One Gram Band to bring the energy with their immersive, funky, alternative rock group from Baltimore, known for their unpredictable, no-holds-barred performances.

โ€œWhile we are building an inclusive third spaceโ€ฆ while this huge capital redevelopment is happening, we continue to offer fun and free activation community events for everyone to get excited about the vibrant and bright future ahead! This year we are bringing more than jazz, a wide variety of genres,โ€ said David Ginsburg, executive director of the Foundation, in a statement. โ€œThis year we are bringing more than jazz, a wide variety of genres.โ€
