Gilman was the winner of the “Toyota QB Challenge” last night at the Ravens-Bengals season opener. The challenge is held at every game at halftime and showcases two top high school quarterbacks from Maryland. The quarterbacks are joined on-field by two receivers to compete in a passing competition during halftime. Both quarterbacks are given two chances to throw passes to receivers, with the longest completion winning.  Last night Gilman competed against Calvert Hall. The teams have received first and second place rankings, respectively, by the Baltimore Sun.

While the winner receives a $500 Russell Athletic gift card for his school’s athletic department, both schools receive tickets to the game and both quarterbacks receive a football autographed by a Ravens player.
